Complete Family History Package
This detailed service combines everything offered by our Presentation Trees and Family History Book options plus a lot more!
Every available record set will be used to find out as much as possible about your family line including census records, parish registers, trade directories, military records and newspaper archives. In addition, a researcher will visit key locations in which your ancestors lived, search local archives and take photographs of the places in which they lived and died.
If you have photos and documents that you would like included in the book, our researchers will be happy to scan or photograph them for you and incorporate them into your package.
The finished research will be presented in a hard bound book with embossed spine and accompanied by a framed A3 Presentation Tree. Up to 5 copies of the book and tree can be requested for no extra cost, ideal for sharing the research with family members.
There are two options:
A - Complete Family History Package (Single Line) - £745
This option will trace information on a single family line - either the surname line (usually father to father to father etc.) or the maternal line (mother to mother to mother etc.). This option usually takes around 15 weeks to complete.
B - Complete Family History Package (Multiple Line) - £1250
This option will trace information on two lines, combined in one book. This is usually the maternal and paternal surname lines of the chosen starting person but can be any two lines of your choice. This option usually takes around 24 weeks to complete.
What you need to provide:
To start working on your tree, we need to know the name, date and place of birth of the person whose ancestral line(s) you would like to trace. Any other information you know about that person or their family would also be helpful. This might be the names of their parents, dates or places of marriage, names of aunts and uncles, an idea of where the family may have lived etc., anything which might help us ensure we are researching the right person! If you don't know any of this information for certain, guesses are always a good place to start!
You will also need to provide any old photographs or documents which you would like to be included in the final book.
